I would argue that perhaps this study population is biased.
"To identify entrepreneurs in the Gestation Stage, we distributed surveys to individuals attending Purdue University affiliated entrepreneurship workshops and Small Business Development Center seminars throughout Indiana."
One could argue that this isn't representative of entrepreneurship in Indiana and only represents a more academically minded group that participates in these kind of programs.
This bias would certainly explain how you have a high population with graduate degrees and low home ownership.
A great way to test this is a follow on study that looks at the population of startups and back track to see what percentage participated in these type of programs.

I think that we need big business. Big business forces companies to come out with the best products and continually make things better. It also keeps things at competitive prices. If everyone just had little shops in every town that each one was the only one in the area that provided a certain service, they could basically monopolize that area and have products that are not very high quality, and low cost to them, but they could put huge mark ups on them because no one is competing with them unless you go out of your way to get it somewhere else.

Having presented on Wikinomics in class last week, I am especially in favor of this emerging technology. In our textbook, there is a short description of how Salesforce.com, a software company set out to counter customer complaints by making more user-friendly software, by hosting its software on the web. As talked about in class, companies like Salesforce.com and Coldcorp are benefiting by making customers their partners in business. I think more companies should and are going to gravitate towards this collaborative concept.
